Quality HVAC Inspections: Our Specialty

Monday, September 30th, 2019

checklistWhen you have an HVAC system installed by your average handyman or even inexperienced contractor, chances are that they install the system and call it a day. They aren’t going to check back and make sure that the installation was done right and that your air conditioner or heating system is working flawlessly. At least, they aren’t if they’re not a Comfort First technician!

HVAC installation inspections are our specialty—every installation will be followed up with a Quality Control Inspection. We believe in going above and beyond for each one of our installation customers. One of our technicians will conduct the installation, and then a different tech will be sent out a week later to make sure everything is working as it should. Without this inspection, you could find yourself paying repair costs far before you should have to, and you may even be stuck with a system that has a shortened lifespan due to an installation mistake.

This inspection is part of our promise to you! Of course, this promise should always be backed by a professional HVAC installation to start with. More on this below…

Why Professional HVAC Installation Matters

We get it—there are some people out there who call themselves HVAC installers or expert handymen that would be willing to install your HVAC system at a bargain price. You know the term, “you get what you pay for?” Well, it applies here.

There is a lot that goes into a proper HVAC system installation; even before the actual installation job itself starts. Your equipment must be carefully selected and checked for compatibility, and the sizing of the system must be correct. Too large of a system can be just as detrimental to its performance as too small of a system! Lastly, materials that ensure your safety must be used.

You can absolutely count on our team to check off each one of those boxes.

Prompt HVAC Installation

Now, we’ll never prioritize speed over quality of our workmanship. However, we also understand that no homeowner wants to sit around and wait while someone pieces together their HVAC system bit by bit.

Our technicians show up to the job fully stocked and ready to complete your installation. Our extensive experience means that we’ve run into any potential problem we may find during your system installation, and we’ll be ready for it proactively.

Protecting Your HVAC System

Did you know that the warranties on HVAC systems can be voided out if your system isn’t professionally installed or maintained? That’s right—warranties are comprehensive, but they won’t cover damages and issues in every situation.

Problems caused by allowing unqualified individuals to install, maintain, or attempt to repair your HVAC system will almost never be covered by one of these warranties. Avoid problems, not warranty coverage! Be sure to work with technicians qualified for the job.

It’s worth noting that trusting a professional to install your system rather than attempting it on your own also protects you. Air conditioners have potentially harmful components like refrigerant, which requires special licensing to deal with. Heater installations often deal with gas lines and also require special certification and training to manage.
